  • I hate laundry

    Whenever I get home from doing laundry it's usually around 930pm and I seem to lack the effort and motivation to put it away for like 3 days. Good thing my clothes don't tend to wrinkle or I'd be in trouble big time. Since it's been done since Sunday night I think I should get going on putting it away. So that's one of my missions for the day since I do not have to be to work until 2pm. I have a ton of things I want to get done today but only a few will actually get accomplished probably.
    • put away laundry
    • clean apartment
    • clean room/bunny cage
    • make lunch/pull something out for dinner
    • work 2-8
    I guess I'm not going to be driving out to Newport to get my book... I'm hoping to be able to get a run in or some sort of workout before work, we'll see though.

  • Wow it's been awhile

    Wow I can't believe how long its been since I've updated. I've been pretty busy with work and life. I'm working full time at the PT Clinic, well a tad over full time actually; more like 50+ hours a week. I haven't been able to work out in a while because of my crazy work schedule. My New Years resolution is to start back on the zone and get back to CrossFit since my schedule has changed a bit. Also I'm going back to school starting in a few weeks :] I'm going for my physical therapy assistant which will take around 2years to complete but I'm excited to get started. I love the feeling of being a student and learning new things. The only downfall is that now I'm living on my own and once clinical rotations start they don't like you to work bc you put in like 40hrs a week plus classes... kind of an epic fail for those who need to work in order to pay for school. I'm hoping I'll update this more often.

  • 6am comes too quickly

    Normally my alarm is set for 520 and then I usually snooze it and get up at 530. Well this morning I some how turned my alarm off instead of snoozing it. Instead of getting up at 530 I got up at 555, thanks to KAC texting me. Where was my wake up text T.Lo?!?!? I made it there just in time for the group warm up.

  • Feeling it today

    Yesterday's workout was pretty good. I had an issue with the running though, I couldn't breathe and of course forgot my inhaler at home.

    Warm-up:
    run .25
    air squats #20
    back ext #20
    box jumps #20

    WOD:
    5 rounds
    run 800m
    KB swings #30
    pull ups #30
    43:23

    *after the second complete round I turned my run into a 400 bc I just couldn't breathe. I talked to T.Lo about it; I said I'd row 800, but he told me to just cut the run down to a 400.

    Today my legs are fine but oh wow my arms are dead lol. I tried reaching up for something this morning and yea, it took a few minutes. Damn pull ups!
